Dr Jacqueline Tanti-Dougall, Partner, and Dr Rebekah Tanti Dougall, Senior Associate, at Advocates Tanti-Dougall & Associates, have participated in the 27th International Federation of Travel & Tourism Advocates [IFTTA] Worldwide Conference held in Tel-Aviv, Israel between the 2nd -5th November 2016.
Dr Rebekah Tanti-Dougall made a presentation on ‘Investigation of Accidents and Incidents in Aviation’, focusing primarily on the legal instruments pertaining to accidents and incidents, namely ‘Annex 13 of the Chicago Convention’ as well ‘EU Regulation 996/2010’. She also delved into particular instances that are not covered by international or European regulations.
Dr Jacqueline Tanti-Dougall was appointed chairperson for the session entitled ‘National Perspectives – Recent Developments‘, having key speakers addressing the IFTTA Worldwide Conference on the U.S. Regulation of Foreign Internet Travel Sellers, on recent Austrian Case Law on Tour Operator Liability as well as on the implementation of the Package Travel Directive in Finland.
