The June 2012 edition of the European Trade Mark Reports (ETMR) which is published monthly by Sweet & Maxwell is now available. As with previous editions, it carries a number of reports of recent decisions given by both national and EU courts as well as by Intellectual Property Offices. This edition includes a number of interesting cases such as ‘Rolex SA and manufacture des Montres Rolex SA vs NN‘ in which the Danish Court gave an important ruling on whether the importation of a counterfeit watch for the use by an individual could be prevented by the governing rules on the detention of goods by custom authorities.
