i-GAMING LAW NEWS: Malta Gaming Authority's International Award

For the second consecutive year, the Lotteries and Gaming Authority (LGA) of Malta has been listed in the 'Fast 50', it being the only regulator since the rest are mostly financial institutions and banks.

The LGA has managed to obtain the highest number of votes from 4,000 participants who voted, for its innovation, governance, diligence and international growth. Indeed, Malta's recent history on i-gaming is truly a success story, enjoying some 280 registered remote gaming companies and 400 licensees making it the most sought afterl jurisdiction in Europe with almost € 50 million in tax revenue for 2010.
